Following the success of our December 2023 outreach, in January 2024, we organized a visit to the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) Camp at Games Village in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria. This visit coincided with the birthday celebration of one of our founding members, ensuring a significant turnout of our team members.

The visit was part of our commitment to conduct at least twelve outreaches annually, symbolizing each month in the calendar year. The event focused on providing support to vulnerable children and families living in the camp. Activities included:

Interactive Sessions: We engaged with the residents to assess their educational levels, career aspirations, and challenges, with a view to better understanding their needs and incorporating them into our ongoing support initiatives.

Cake Cutting Ceremony: In honor of the celebrant, Aunty Bisi, a cake cutting ceremony was held, and slices of cake were distributed to all participants as a gesture of love and camaraderie.

Distribution of Food and Supplies: As a token of appreciation for their time and engagement, we distributed packs of food and drinks to the residents, along with writing materials for primary school students, toys, and other essentials for children.
